Follis (Bronze, 27 mm, 10.53 g, 5 h), imitating a Byzantine follis of Heraclius with Heraclius Constantine, uncertain mint, struck during the Sasanian occupation of Syria 610-629, RY 13 = 622/3. Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine standing facing, each crowned and holding cross-tipped scepter in right hand; above, cross; around, somewhat blundered legend. Rev. Large M between A/N/N and X/III; above, cross; below, Δ; in exergue, ЄON. Pottier Class IV, 58.3. Attractive earthen highlights on a dark patina. Light areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
